LG says wall-mounting a TV requires both expertise and an understanding of the wall type and installation environment.

To avoid potential damage, LG says it is strongly recommended to have the TV mounted by a professional technician.

How to Mount an LG TV on a Wall: LG’s Six Steps

Select a suitable wall location.
Check the wall type. LG’s caution: some wall types are not suitable for mounting.
Hold the wall bracket against the wall, mark the drilling points, and drill holes at the marks.
Insert wall anchors into the drilled holes and make sure they’re firmly secured.
Align the wall bracket with the anchors and use screws to secure the bracket.
Attach the corresponding bracket to the back of the TV and mount the TV onto the wall bracket.

LG says mounting may be restricted by the wall type (for example marble, wood or tile) and the installation environment, and recommends contacting a professional technician.
