How we evaluate products

Our recommendations are based on manufacturer specifications, independent testing and certification sources (for example, published certification registries or established third-party testing publications), and our own editorial research and analysis. SignalVetted has not performed its own hands-on, first-hand testing for its articles to date — where an evaluation is based on the sources above rather than hands-on testing, we say so rather than implying testing that didn’t happen. Who’s behind SignalVetted

SignalVetted’s content is produced and reviewed by Nridi. TVs and computers are part of Nridi’s everyday life, and when one runs into a problem, Nridi’s first step for a minor issue is often to search for basic troubleshooting guides before seeking a professional repair or making a warranty claim. That habit of researching and comparing sources, such as manufacturer specifications and independent review and testing sites, is part of why SignalVetted started with TV reviews.

Nridi does not hold formal technical qualifications or an industry-professional background, and this everyday troubleshooting is not hands-on or laboratory testing conducted for SignalVetted’s evaluations. See our Editorial Policy for how evaluations are sourced.
